If Austin Powers, The Mad Hatter, and Willy Wonka planned a party it would be the Alice + Olivia Fall 2012 presentation. Models were positioned in front of colorful backdrops and a long dinning table piled with long brass candles and chalices. And what would the event be without an ice cream cart right next to the bar! Spotted amongst the beautiful chaos was Kristin Chenoweth, Johnny Weir, Erin Andrews and Tinsley Mortimer. But the spotlight could not be taken off of designer Stacey Bendet whose collection compelled guests to view every platform multiple times and then some. Attendees balanced their drinks and ice cream sandwiches while snapping away at poofy skirts, sequin dresses, fur jackets, and lace for miles on end. Alice + Olivia had their guests leaving with smiles from ear to ear, notes for their fall closet, and of course goodie bags.
SNAPETTE FAV: White skirt with sequins top and jacket combo was a little slice of heaven!

This Zara clutch is delicious. Sequined pieces can be pretty delicate and can start breaking down after several good wears. A more wallet-friendly item like this won’t leave you feeling guilty and will satisfy your sparkle quota.

Vionnet belongs right up there with Ms.Coco in designing for the modern woman.
Originally opened in 1912 by Madeleine Vionnet, the couture house was instrumental in steering women away from the constraints of corsets, leaving an enduring legacy that includes the bias-cut dress and body-skimming provocations.
Called the “Queen of the bias cut” and “the architect among dressmakers”, Vionnet is best-known today for her elegant Grecian-style dresses and for introducing the bias cut to the fashion world.
MAJOR.
