Summer feels like it’s slipping away… Sadly, beach is season almost gone in NYC, but at least we can look forward to fall footwear. :)

The situation: how does one deal with sub-zero office temps when it’s deathly hot everywhere else in NYC?
Voila. Take it from this summer beauty.

Ahh. What I would give to spend today lounging on the beach…

Dazed & Confused. One of my favorites sources for summer wardrobe inspiration. So much so that I even own one of these SENIORS tees.
Plus, I just love Parker Posey.

Fur in summer. The IT thing to do nowadays. So ridiculously impractical, but I’m loving it all. The Valentinos are SO GOOD (check them out in our Snapette | Versus x Valentino edition).

Summer in the city… my favorite time of the year in NYC, partly because most of my favorite outfits include shorts and sandals.
Speaking of which - I wonder what shoes Taylor’s got on. I would bet on platforms… or perhaps something like these beauties.
By the way, this would make a great ad campaign for Dunkin’ Donuts. Don’t you think?

Summertime with Rene Gruau, the renowned fashion illustrator of the haute couture world during the 1940s and 50s.
Look at those lines! So bold, dynamic and feminine. I love the graphic quality to his illustrations - the composition is perfection and the negative space has so much body… Plus, he always used a good amount of black in his work, which I will never tire of. All of it is.. just.. so.. juicy. You know what I mean?
