Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2012
Waist cinching velvet belts adorned with bows, leather pipping, fur collars, owl embroidered sweaters, and accessories to die for: It was all in the details at the Burberry Prorsum show. From the collection, to the music selection, let alone the mock rain shower during the final walk, this show hands down has our vote for the best at London Fashion Week.
Watch the live stream. Trust us, it’s well worth it!

Pink Isabel Marant Shorts. Who wore it better?

Okay, the Isabel Marant shorts? Of course. Absolutely. Yes. We all want them. But the tan suede ankle boots? Uncanny. Funny how these things happen. Personally, I’d also stick with the neutral brown-ish color of footwear - something like these Michael Kors Capote’s (sigh, if only they came in women’s sizes). For up top, maybe a gray sweatshirt and this Rebecca Minkoff beauty. Here’s look at how the shorts were styled for Isabel Marant’s runway show:

SO. Back to the question. Kate Bosworth or Rumi Neely. Who wore it better? Verdict is… BOSWORTH! K.O.! For one, she’s got the Alexander amazeballs Wang Marti backpack, #1 the spring wishlist, as described here. Two, and perhaps more importantly, Kate’s clean ponytail keeps things fresh and youthful. Hmmm. But there is something to that free-spirit, hippie-grunge look that Rumi rocks so well…
