Brands We Love: A new series devoted to spotlighting game-changing brands in the fashion world—oftentimes posted and hyped up by none other than our own Snapette users! This week, all eyes are on Jeffrey Campbell Shoes. Though it can’t be denied how wildly popular the brand is, it’s definitely one of those “you either love it or you hate it” type deals. If you ask us, anything that elicits such a visceral reaction warrants a closer look!
Shoe designer Jeffrey Campbell founded his eponymous design label 11 years ago in Los Angeles, CA. The brand has skyrocketed in popularity over the past couple of years, but despite its success, still remains a relatively small company. Known for designs that constantly push the envelope, Jeffrey Campbell has solidified its status as a distinctive brand. Their shoes cater to diehard fashionistas who favor creative and eclectic styles. These women are endearingly referred to as “JC Girls.”
Okay, let’s talk about the shoes. The soaring Lita bootie is the shining star of the brand’s line. The boot is perched upon a concealed platform and blocky heel measuring 4.5 inches. You name the material, design, and/or accents—we guarantee it exists! Other smash hits include the Foxy Wood heel sandals, Benched cutout platform, and 99 Tie wedge. Nothing about these styles is subdued, and they’re certainly not for all palates, but there continues to be an overwhelming demand for them. They are the quintessential “statement shoe.”
So there are countless reasons to love Jeffrey Campbell, and it’s no wonder why they’ve come to be one of the biggest names in footwear. Behind the shoes, there’s a real tangible passion for design and a commitment to originality that we find admirable.

A lot of different elements in this outfit, but flawlessly executed! We particularly love the mint green and orange pairing.

Snapette is very excited to have Atrium as a featured store on the app! Here, hip-hop and rock-inspired unisex clothing, shoes, and accessories line the store, and denim is all the rage. Check out our chat with Atrium’s Marketing Director, the lovely Laura.
How did you end up at Atrium?
After I graduated from college, I did a bunch of different internships and freelance work. I started here at a freelance position, and from there moved up to Marketing Director.
To new customers, how would you describe Atrium’s style?
Well, our whole motto is “take it personal” so we try to offer a wide range of stylish pieces for different palates. Our buyers make it a top priority to go to every trade show out there, even internationally. They mix it up with both up-and-coming designers and bigger name labels.
Any favorite featured designers on the Atrium line?
Equipment, Parker, I love the Lita bootie by Jeffrey Campbell, and I’m a big fan of J Brand.
How would you describe your own personal style?
I think I would say that I’m very glamorous with a bit of an edge. I like to try new things and dive into the deep end, but I’m not too over the top. I love bright colors, too.
What is your favorite part of your day-to-day responsibilities as Marketing Director?
I really like maintaining the social media aspect, and working with bloggers on the stylist posts. I really love interacting with the customer and seeing how they react to different styles.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I would want to be able to fly because New York traffic sucks and I’m always late. I’d love to be able to fly to work!
What brands do you love?
I’m obsessed with the Adrienne Landau furs. They’re super warm, glamorous, and stylish and they’re not just the standard black or cream. The sparkly Bluelab reversible denim is also cool because it’s like buying two pairs of jeans in one. They’re really versatile.
Atrium is the place to go for a great personal shopping experience. Their line features a stellar roster of designers and a wide-reaching range of products, so there’s truly something for everyone here. Download Snapette (www.snapette.com/download) to check out more from Atrium.
