SNAPETTE: What/who are some of your fashion inspirations?
VIVDUJOUR: Some of my fashion inspirations come from fashion magazines such as Elle and from other fashion bloggers. But I think the majority come from browsing around clothing boutiques and imagining how I would put pieces together into an outfit.
S: How does fashion and technology play a role in your everyday life?
V: Fashion is always in my life. I love it and I breathe it. I think with technology today, it gives people easier accessibility to the things that they like. I can go on snapette and see what are the hottest trends in less than 5 seconds.
S: What are 3 things you always carry in your purse?
V: I always have my white iPhone, black Chanel wallet and YSL nude lip gloss in my purse.
S: What stores do you follow on the app?
V: I don’t necessarily follow stores on the app. Rather, I follow certain designers like Christian Louboutin and Chanel.
S: What song sums up your summer?
V: One song that sums up my summer is Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus. It’s a carefree and party-like song just how my summer has been. I celebrated my 21st birthday and my sister is getting married. So I’m definitely having a fun summer.
S: What is your favorite feature on Snapette?
V: I like the trend features such as Mad for Metallics. It compiles all snaps that fit the trend and I get inspiration when I browse through them.
S: What are you doing right now (work, school, organizations)?
V: I’m currently interning at an entertainment PR firm in West Hollywood. I will be finishing up my last year at Boston University and will be interning at a fashion PR firm called SUCCARRA this coming fall.
S: What trend are you most excited to see this fall?
V: I’m excited to see the little black jacket trend. I know Chanel is opening a little black jacket exhibition in NYC. It’s such a simple but chic item that every girl must have in her closet.
S: If you could choose one brand to describe your style, what would it be?
V: You can probably guess now that Chanel is my favorite brand by looking through my snaps. But I love the chic and effortless style that Chanel portrays. I also like very edgy clothing such as Alexander McQueen. I also love spikes and studs! I obsessed over my spiked Louboutins and rockstud Valentino flats.
S: What was your latest fashion find?
V: I recently purchased a Chanel mini in a pastel lilac color new for Fall 2012 collection. It’s my first mini. I own a few jumbos in different colors. But this lilac color is perfect for summer and great for pre fall.
S: Who is your celebrity crush?
V: I don’t really have a celebrity crush but I can say that I have a major crush on Olivia Palermo’s style.
