We have the low-down on this month’s Fan of the Month who reveals to us everything from her guilty pleasure, to her favorite feature on the app. We love the unique and original snaps that she captures! SNAPETTE: What/who are some of your inspirations?
KIMMYERIN: Trips to Paris in particular, but traveling in general, fashion shows (especially backstage), and my friends!
S: How do you see fashion and technology playing a role in your everyday life?
KE: I love that I have a million ways to access news, pretty pictures, and the kind of art that speaks most loudly to me in an instant thanks to the web and apps like Snapette. I also love how connected I can be to like-minded and/or inquisitive people I otherwise would never have the chance to interact with! Fashion should be for everyone—thankfully technology is a huge part of making that a reality.
S: What are you more likely to splurge on: shoes or bags?
KE: Shoes. Always. I love bags and have to have great ones, but shoes are my everything. I have a dream that one day I’ll get to collaborate on a shoes line.
S: What stores do you follow on the app?
KE: I follow people on Snapette! I love curation and perspective of buyer, but it’s too similar to my own! I’m inclined to know what interests my (potential) blog readers/YouTube subscribers.
S: What is your guilty pleasure?
KE: I don’t find much guilt in pleasure, but I will admit that I do go nuts at sample sales and always feel slightly guilty after spending a wad of cash!
S: What is your favorite feature on Snapette?
KE: The ability to help retailers sell items and other fashionistas gain amazing items by tagging items! So brill, guys. So brill.
S: What are you doing right now (work, school, organizations)?
KE: I work as a stylist and contribute to my blog, KimmyErin.com and YouTube Channel, MissKimmyErin, weekly!
S: What do you aspire to be?
KE: I’m living my dreams!! I’d like to remain a stylist/blogger/vlogger, but I aspire to enrich, empower, and motivate men and women through fashion. I want everyone to take pride in their personal appearance and gain self-confidence in their identity!
S: If you could choose one brand to describe your style, what would it be?
KE: Wow guys, major toughy!! J.Crew and Zara in a mall. Designer? VALENTINO, ESPECIALLY for shoes and handbags. But 3.1 Phillip Lim, Theysken’s Theory and Rag & Bone inspire my purchases constantly.
